The Dior fall 2017 collection by the creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri features America's girl next door, Jennifer Lawrence, who has been the house muse since 2012. The campaign is shot by the french photographer Brigitte Lacombe.

The political statement Tees that were showcased at fashion weeks worldwide in the spring continues. (And which is talked about in my blog post from Feb 16) The newest Dior campaign features multiple Tees with statements such as “We Should All Be Feminists” and “Dior Addict."
Jennifer Lawrence herself has previously voiced her stance on women's equality in an essay in Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter where she stated:
"I found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with dicks."
In a interview revolving on her take o feminism with Harper's Bazaar she said
"I don't know why that word [feminism] is so scary to people; it shouldn't be, because it just means equality, If we are moving forward in a society, you are feeling stronger as a woman, and you want to be taken more seriously. You don't have to take away the wonderful traits that come with being a woman: We are sensitive. We are pleasers. We're empathetic. All those things that can keep you from asking for what you want or making mistakes."
Last year she also hosted a dinner to discuss this same matter of equality. J Law is clearly an advocate for equality, which makes her the perfect person to pass along this message in the new campaign.
Maria Garcia Chiuri is the first female creative director for Dior and has made feminism a central message of her creative direction for the brand. The fall 2017 campaign was not all about a message, it also features beautiful products, which is evident in the below campaign shoot.
